Most REDCs usually start out as passionate advocates and drivers of “affordable housing”. Hard it is though, to see one that has stayed within the confines of affordable housing for more than 5 years of its creation. Sadly, for private sector REDCs, “affordable housing” has been ill-fated to be a “brisk bridge” to the high end (profit-hefty) property market – a bridge that always gets burnt once it is crossed. Quite Sad but, why? And, should this continue?
